Born and raised in Utah, I never really understood the beauty of the natural landscape that surrounded me. After moving away for a little while and then choosing to come back to raise my family where I grew up, I finally noticed it. Utah’s breathtaking beauty in ways that are simple, unique and bring peace to the soul. It’s inspired all of the collections that I have for Desert Pearl.
Being an entrepreneur is new for me. In spending most of my adult life as a social worker, I’ve loved working with people.
But in recently having my baby boy, I decided that I needed to do something that was extremely flexible.
I’ve always enjoyed working with my hands, and creating things artistically has always had a special place in my heart.
So I’ve decided to create this, Desert Pearl. A way to celebrate the beauty around me, through creating jewelry, with the hope that it brings happiness to others as much as it does me.
